We’re So Different, We’re Practically The Same

This is a guest post written by Saint Louis Branding expert Chad Bookidis.

In a world and a generation where microfragmentation is a word my spellchecker is still unfamiliar with and a challenge facing businesses and marketers alike, “the richest source of insight comes from observing behavior,” So says BBDO President and Chief Executive Andrew Robertson.

Website Review Panel

Attention Beginner Track Attendees:

Put your business card into the fishbowl at the pre-conference mixer for a shot at getting your website on the site review panel at 2:10PM.

The panel, consisting of Will Hanke, Ben Cook and Steve Thomas will take an off-the-cuff look at attendee’s websites and (hopefully!) provide some constructive critisism and great optimization tips about each site.

We hope to cover around 5 sites during this time.  To get your site into the mix, simply put your business card in the fishbowl during the pre-conference mixer.

What will the experts say about your website?

Attend a Local Meetup, Win Free Tickets

One of our speakers, Russ Henneberry, hosts a Meetup once a month. Each month there’s a different topic. In February it was ‘How to Promote Your Business with Little or No Money’ and in March it’s ‘Ink For Your Printer’. If you’re a small business in the Saint Louis area, this Meetup may be just what you need.

And to make the March meetup even cooler, Russ is going to be giving away two tickets to our conference at the event!

And yes, there’s a catch – Russ’s free Meetup room only holds 50 people, so the RSVPs stop when he hits that mark.

So if you want to meet some great local business execs, hear some great information (this time its all about ink) and maybe even win a free ticket to our event, check it out!

SEO: It’s Not Hard. It’s Not Easy.

As business owners, we are often barraged by email offers to get our websites to the top of Google, Yahoo and Bing (among other offers for things we won’t mention here).  Even if the offers are obviously spammy, it still gets us thinking about the possibilities.

What if your website was #1 on Google for your service in Saint Louis?

What if your product was #1 on Yahoo for something that you could ship anywhere?

What if your website was sending you leads that turned into numerous new customers?

Sounds good, no wait – it sounds great! But is it possible?

Getting your website climb to the top of the search engines for different phrases isn’t that hard.  Now, by saying that, I don’t mean it’s easy either. It’s  time consuming and tedious work, but the payoffs are worth it.

What’s even better is that just a few small tweaks can set the entire process in motion.  Adjusting title tags and modifying your keyword density will get the ball rolling to better rankings.

But just what do you have to do to get that ball rolling? What steps can you take to start your business to more web traffic and online revenue?

Our panel of speakers will help you sort through the time-waster ideas and give you solid tips that will set you on the road to online success. Our wide variety of sessions will show you how to hone in on those paying and converting leads, and how to tweak and change your website so that the search engines fall in love with your business.

All these tips, six informative sessions, the Q&A expert panel, freebies and more for just $149 bucks.  It’ll be the best business investment you’ll make this year.
