SEO: It’s Not Hard. It’s Not Easy.

As business owners, we are often barraged by email offers to get our websites to the top of Google, Yahoo and Bing (among other offers for things we won’t mention here).  Even if the offers are obviously spammy, it still gets us thinking about the possibilities.

What if your website was #1 on Google for your service in Saint Louis?

What if your product was #1 on Yahoo for something that you could ship anywhere?

What if your website was sending you leads that turned into numerous new customers?

Sounds good, no wait – it sounds great! But is it possible?

Getting your website climb to the top of the search engines for different phrases isn’t that hard.  Now, by saying that, I don’t mean it’s easy either. It’s  time consuming and tedious work, but the payoffs are worth it.

What’s even better is that just a few small tweaks can set the entire process in motion.  Adjusting title tags and modifying your keyword density will get the ball rolling to better rankings.

But just what do you have to do to get that ball rolling? What steps can you take to start your business to more web traffic and online revenue?

Our panel of speakers will help you sort through the time-waster ideas and give you solid tips that will set you on the road to online success. Our wide variety of sessions will show you how to hone in on those paying and converting leads, and how to tweak and change your website so that the search engines fall in love with your business.

All these tips, six informative sessions, the Q&A expert panel, freebies and more for just $149 bucks.  It’ll be the best business investment you’ll make this year.

Are You Afraid of Social Media?

A recent survey finds that nearly 80% of business executives are afraid of social media. That’s a bit disturbing, but I guess I can understand it.

Business execs have understandable issues with beaing wary of the unknown.  But those who use social media as a tool will soon find out that their businesses can grow to new levels, increase customers and create a strong community of fans.

Do you think most business owners understand the potential for social media use in their industry?

New Items Added: Schedule and Venue Pages

This week we’ve added a few things to the site to help you learn more about the upcoming conference.

Schedule – Our entire seminar schedule is available here.  The event runs from 8AM to 4PM and there will be plenty of time to network with other St. Louis business owners!

Venue – We’ve created a really fancy and elaborate page about our event venue. Ok, it’s kind of boring.  There isn’t exactly a lot to say… but there is a cool virtual tour (so you can pick out your seat before you even get there).
