The phone rang yesterday and I checked the caller ID (don’t you love caller ID?) – Lisa from the UPS Store was calling to let me know that a new package had arrived. Since I’m stuck in the office helping a major client rebrand his website, I asked the wife to run up there when she had time and see what came in.
A few hours later I get the call – “It’s a FedEx package from Box.net.”
I arrive home (after a long day toiling at the keyboard) and rip open the package. Inside were two large stacks of gift cards for Box.net – each one for a free year of their 2GB Online Storage. Then it comes back to me – a conversation I had with Sean from Box the week before. Freebies for the seminar attendees. Awesome.
Box.net is a web-based service that lets you store files online, share them with others, and collaborate on projects. Each of these gift cards are good for one free year of their service. What better thing can I give away to business owners?
Everyone who registers for the Look at Me seminar will receive one of these cards when they arrive at the event. Top that with the free SEO audits and you’ve already got a great deal.
I wonder what’s going to come next?
